Victoria – Xibalba

This year, Victoria celebrates Day of the Dead with another cinematic campaign honoring ancient Mexican traditions by bringing the ancient Mayan underworld (Xibalbá) to life. We shot an epic short film in several locations around the state of Yucatán—including an underground reservoir—with real people from across the region. Working as a lighting shading artist I was responsible for the cenote temple (cave) scene and panter shot.
